We recently talked with Eric about his friendship with his Goldendoodle, Charlie. Eric and Charlie met through Richland Area Rescue this April.
Charlie had a hard beginning, not receiving the loving care early on in her puppy mill environment. When Judy Elliot rescued her and her six littermates, the puppies would huddle in the corner of their sleep area, not wanting any contact with people.
Through the love of Judy and volunteer friends at Richland Area Rescue, the puppies received the veterinary care and loving attention needed to begin to trust people. Over time, their trust in people grew and their true personalities came through. Happily all dogs in the litter are thriving in loving homes.
